Safety
Designed with Safety First
Our customers are precious, and only the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship will do. That's why we use only carefully selected suppliers, materials, and maintain rigorous safety testing through certified third-party laboratories on an ongoing basis.
All of our jewelry meets or exceeds the requirements by CSPIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) and ASTM F 2923-11 (Standard Specification for Consumer Product Safety for Children’s Jewelry).
We take safety seriously throughout every stage of our manufacturing process. Our beaded jewelry pieces are hand-beaded in the USA by trained artisans using durable stainless steel wire rated at 21-pound break strength. We perform extensive safety testing, including breakaway force testing, mechanical pull and twist testing, and sharp-point evaluations to help ensure the integrity of every piece.
For necklaces, clasps are safety rated to release at or below 15-pounds of tension. We also incorporate thoughtful manufacturing details, such as looping directly through the lobster clasp rather than using open jump rings whenever possible, helping to improve durability and reduce the likelihood of breakage. Additionally, the majority of our charms are manufactured by us so they meet each of our specifications, including using soldered-closed jump rings for enhanced security.
These measures, combined with our commitment to premium materials and quality craftsmanship, help ensure that every piece is both beautiful and safe for the families who wear and cherish it.
Jewelry Safety for Children Under Three Years of Age
Small jewelry may present a choking hazard. We recommend children under three (3) years of age be supervised at all times while wearing our jewelry. Never leave a child under the age of three unattended while wearing any jewelry product. Remove all jewelry before napping, riding in a car seat, bath-time, unattended playtime, or bedtime.
